Business Development Representative
Location: Remote (Must be located in New York; candidates as far west as Ohio and as far south as the Carolinas will be considered)

Our client, a company that values sustainability, innovation, and community engagement, is seeking an experienced Business Development Representative to drive sales growth and foster meaningful client relationships in the folding carton and paperboard packaging industry. This is a remote position with travel, offering an opportunity to make a direct impact in a dynamic, growing sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement a structured sales process with clear KPIs to measure success.
- Proactively build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, meeting or exceeding quotas.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build trust and establish strong client relationships by becoming an expert in product offerings.
- Evaluate and recommend tailored product solutions to address customer needs.
- Act as a primary liaison between clients, customer service, production, and internal teams.
- Operational Support:
- Process RFQs and coordinate with internal teams for estimates, design, and specifications.
- Address and resolve customer service issues, including delivery schedules and sample requests.
- Collaborate on efficient job and project workflows with internal teams.
Qualifications
- Experience:
- 8–10 years of outside sales experience in folding carton, packaging, or printing industries.
- Proven success in prospecting, presenting, and closing sales.
- Knowledge:
- Extensive familiarity with folding carton and packaging solutions.
- Skills:
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Travel:
- Willingness to travel up to 50%.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $80,000–$100,000 per year.
