Position Overview:
As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will play a critical role in driving growth across our suite of recruiting and staffing solutions. Your mission is to identify new business opportunities, nurture relationships with prospective clients, and work closely with leadership to generate leads. This role is ideal for a driven and entrepreneurial individual who is passionate about helping companies scale their workforce and who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and research potential clients. Focus on outreach to key decision-makers, including HR leaders, talent acquisition teams, and hiring managers.
- Client Relationship Building: Cultivate relationships with prospects, actively engaging with them to understand their talent acquisition needs and how Vector Talent Solutions can provide value.
- Service Promotion: Promote the full suite of offerings from VTS, including project-based staffing, direct hire, executive search, and RPO services.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust sales pipeline, track opportunities in the CRM system, and collaborate with the Sr. Director of Business Development to ensure smooth handoffs from lead generation to client onboarding.
- Market Insights: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging opportunities that could lead to business growth.
Desired Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the staffing, recruiting, or talent acquisition industries.
- Demonstrated ability to generate leads, build relationships, and close deals.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- A self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who thrives in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
- Experience or passion for working with veteran communities is a plus.
