We are looking for someone creative and driven to join our sales development organization as a Business Development Representative to help us engage with prospects and customers in our pursuit to make Collabor8's observability platform the de facto choice for all performance management solutions. As a BDR you will grow the pipeline for Collabor8 Sales by engaging with prospects and customers to help identify strategic initiatives and work with our Account Executive team move them forward into a sales cycle. This is a meaningful position at the top of our sales funnel, the experience and skills acquired in this role will help kickstart a long and successful career in high-tech sales.
What You’ll Do
- Effectively engage new and existing leads by phone, email, and chat to attract new customers to Collabor8
- Create and execute strategic prospecting plans to engage with new customers, and help find opportunities to expand existing customers adoption of the Collabor8 One Platform.
- Pre-qualify opportunities by assessing mutual interest and purchasing power
- Achieve quarterly quotas of sales qualified opportunities for assigned territory
- Effectively uses Salesforce.com and other sales tools to run accounts through every step of the sales cycle.
- Explain the value of Collabor8’s platforms to potential and current customers, as well as senior executives
Your Qualifications
Must-have:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Nice-to-have:
- 1+ year of experience in a corporate environment
- Prior sales and/or SaaS experience
- Experience using Salesforce.com or other Client Relationship Management (CRM)
- Highly motivated and willing to take intelligent risks
