Kyros is a venture-backed startup based in Minneapolis with a mission to make recovery from Substance Use Disorder possible for anybody. We are building and deploying a workforce of community-based Certified Peer Recovery Specialists contractors who provide services to those in need through a network of partnerships, as well as directly in the community, enabled by our proprietary technology platform. Our approach is providing instant, centralized access to resources, provider care, and peer support for individuals suffering from substance use disorder across Minnesota and beginning service in multiple new states

Our office is located in Minneapolis, MN. We offer a flexible working model for local candidates. We are not able to sponsor Visas at this time.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Representative to join our partnership team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in generating new partnership opportunities and supporting our growth goals as we expand into new states and increase our presence in our home market. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals looking to build a career in business development and who also has a passion for effecting positive change through a mission-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Qualification: Evaluate and qualify marketing leads to determine their potential. Engage with prospects and potential partners through various channels to understand their business needs and assess the fit for collaboration exploration.
- Discovery Calls: Coordinate with the Partner Development and Recruiting teams to prioritize targets and markets for initial discovery calls with potential partners to gather key information and identify opportunities for collaboration.
- Mission alignment: Understand and effectively communicate the company mission, and determine if/how it aligns with the missions of potential partner organizations.
- Scheduling Meetings: Coordinate and schedule meetings between potential partners and the partnership team, ensuring a smooth transition in the process.
- CRM Management: Accurately update and maintain prospect and partner information in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Follow-up: In coordination with the partnership teams, ensure that any follow-up activities are completed.
- Sales Reporting: Prepare and deliver regular sales reports, providing insights into lead generation activities, pipeline status, and sales forecasts.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the partnership and marketing teams to develop and implement effective sales and recruiting strategies.
- Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and potential clients to enhance partnership efforts.
- Continuous Learning: Participate in training and professional development opportunities to improve skills and increase knowledge of our products and services.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot etc).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in healthcare or recovery industry is preferred but not required
