Do you specialize in property & casualty insurance with an emphasis on commercial lines? Do you thrive working within a competitive sales and independent agency environment? Society Insurance is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Inside Sales Representative to help drive business growth in a Wisconsin territory. You will collaborate closely with our inside sales, marketing, agency, and underwriting departments, along with our external independent agencies. You will play a key role in contributing to the companys success in the competitive commercial insurance market. About the Role
- Assists underwriting in retaining current book and generates new profitable business growth through assigned agents.
- Develops and strengthens relationships with our current agency force, Society employees, and associations.
- Ensures superior customer service by providing follow-up on any function or service we provide.
- Resolves customer service problems.
- Assists in collecting on past-due agency accounts.
- Assists agents with risk selection and marketing of company products/services to ensure the right decisions are being made and the information regarding Society is available.
- Reviews pending quotes and applications.
- Reviews state agency force for production and profitability. Terminates and prospects agencies as needed to achieve production and profitability goals.
- Works to build and maintain a consistent pipeline of new business opportunities and assists the underwriting team closing desirable business accounts.
- Gathers information on the competition from agent and department of insurance to ensure company is providing the best products/services possible. Makes recommendations to management regarding this information and workflow as needed.
- Trains and informs agency personnel on company procedures, products, services, automation, and underwriting guidelines.
- Understands agency-management operations and collaborates closely with Agency Services to provide an excellent experience to our customers and provide high-level technical support.
- Researches and recommends business solutions for maximum return on investment and ease of use to the end customer and provides input with and assists with decision making prioritization of technological needs.
- Supports agency force on items related to Societys Sales and Marketing technology systems. Provides technical assistance and training via phone, virtual, or in-person consultation.

What it Will Take
- Bachelors degree.
- 3+ years professional experience working at Society Insurance OR 3+ years with either agency experience or carrier experience.
- Residence location within the assigned territory.
- Ability to travel approximately 15% within the assigned territory.
- Valid drivers license and satisfactory driving record.
- CPCU or CIC insurance designation highly desirable.
- Commercial underwriting experience highly desirable
