About the Role
As the front lines of our Sales team, you will roll up your sleeves and lead the charge for new business development to grow our business, both for the short and long term. You will identify opportunities, qualify leads, convert prospects into customers, and expand our business. You will generate and handle inbound leads while creating outbound demand and opportunities that culminate in new revenue for our company. You will grow the business for our Maintenance Division while continuing to support our Construction Division. You will also be the key contributor in the continued refinement and deployment of our strategic marketing plan, sales strategies, customer relations, and new business acquisition processes.

Compensation:$80,000 - $100,000 OTE
Responsibilities:- Drive new business from lead generation to customer acquisition through effective pipeline management with a focus on getting repeat business.
- Research, identify, and qualify sales opportunities, create and send proposals, and then diligently follow up to secure the sale.
- Coordinate seamless new customer handoffs with operations and administrative teams.
- Align sales efforts with overall business objectives to ensure a cohesive company-wide approach.
- Assess performance, identify trends, and evaluate the effectiveness of prospecting and sales strategies.
- Optimize sales techniques and drive continuous improvement.
- Foster strong and long-lasting relationships with existing clients to promote repeat business and referrals.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction throughout customer lifecycle.
- Develop and use marketing resources, as required, to support lead generation and/or branding.
- Attend, organize, and host networking events to enhance prospecting efforts.
- Prioritize and manage own time and efforts to ensure goals are met or exceeded.
- Quickly become an expert in our solutions and value proposition to move-in cleaning, janitorial cleaning, general labor, and construction final cleaning.
- Rapidly internalize our sales process, services offerings, and proposal skills.
- Manage and update CRM with accurate and timely data regarding leads, opportunities, communications, and activities.
- Utilize sales data and metrics, and leverage the team and resources available to operate at peak performance.

Required
- Proven winner in sales and business development with exceptional customer service.

- Well-versed in the revenue generation lifecycle from marketing and sales to operations and client success.
- Adept at identifying sales opportunities and highly motivated to convert into new business.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Relentless in working the phone and follow-up processes to win jobs.
- Efficient and effective in a short sales cycle and patient and persistent in a long sales cycle.
- Devoted to lifelong professional development; and embraces learning and process improvement.
- Technologically savvy; able to learn and utilize software and systems quickly.
- Able to work out of our El Cajon office and in the field daily throughout San Diego County and surrounding areas.
- Flexible with a can-do positive attitude.
Preferred
- 3-5 years of Outside Sales and/or Business Development experience.Experience and/or passion for construction, real estate, engineering, and/or commercial cleaning industries.
- Experience producing estimates and/or proposals for property managers and facility managers.
- Experience producing estimates and/or proposals and take-offs from construction drawings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing.
Desired
- Sales and/or Sales Management training and/or certification.
- Experience selling commercial cleaning or similar services within the construction, real estate, and/or engineering industries.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
