About the Job
System Service and Engineering is looking for a Business Development Representative for our Commercial Services division in North West Florida. This position will be responsible for prospecting and generating new business and new client relationships for the company. Continually developing and growing the service maintenance base is critical to the long term growth strategy and stability of the company. This position will be expected to produce a certain level of new business revenue in the form of service and maintenance agreements across differing trade targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospecting and cold-calling new business opportunities in key industry sector targets.
- Visiting and reviewing facilities to record equipment counts and types
- Writing proposals and negotiating contracts with prospects to meet or exceed stated revenue targets
- attending various networking and industry events to generate contacts and prospect opportunities
- Other duties as assigned to ensure the success of the company
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
- able to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Goal Oriented, organized team player
- Self Motivated and Self Directed
- Excellent communication skills; must be a listener, a presenter, and a people-person
- Basic computer skills, and experience with Microsoft Office suite, Emphasis on Excel and Word.
- Strong negotiating skills, with the ability to follow through on client contacts
