This is a unique opportunity to participate in our comprehensive BDR Residency, which consists of a free one-week training period followed by a full-time W2, salaried, 12-week Fellowship with one of our Employer Partners (EPs), currently operating in Europe, and expanding to the US. Residents will receive hands-on training, mentorship, and real-world experience to prepare them for a successful career in software sales. BDRs are pivotal to the sales cycle by focusing on top-of-funnel activities, including gathering prospect data, educating prospects, qualifying leads, and booking meetings. This role is essential for driving growth and expanding the customer base, making it a key entry point for careers in tech sales.
About the Role
As the first BDR working full-time on this company's US launch, you will have a significant impact on market strategy in the US and in developing their international business. This Series A company has recently raised capital and is beginning their US go-to-market (GTM) efforts. They are accelerating product development, offering you a tremendous opportunity to shape their growth and the products created. You are joining at the ideal time to make a substantial impact.
Responsibilities
- Conduct high-volume Outbound prospecting and lead generation using multiple channels (cold calls, email, LinkedIn, Social Media, trade shows, your network etc.)
- Efficient Inbound handling and qualification in close collaboration with Account Executives
- Devise creative ideas for more leads, sales, and partners as well as personalized follow-up and engagement strategies
- Contribute to better sales outreach and process automation with tooling
- Monitor and report KPIs to ensure our strategy stays informed by data
- Coordinate needs, develop and negotiate contracts, and integrate contract requirements with business operations to close new business
- Liaise with peers across different markets to refine processes and evolve the scope of the role
- Stay on top of the latest product features, industry trends, and market dynamics to provide the best possible service to our clients.
Required Skills
- Outbound B2B SaaS sales experience highly-preferred
- Self-starter: autonomous, driven, and proactive, with a hunger for commercial development and new challenges in an ever-evolving space
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues
- Prioritization and time management, maintaining focus in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with lead generation (CRMs like Hubspot, prospecting tools, etc.)
Pay range and compensation package
Compensation: $55,000 + $25,000 variable commissions = $80K OTE + Commission and Standard Benefits Pkg
