Business Development Rep - POND IoT

We are looking for a motivated Business Development Rep to be the engine of our growth by generating new business opportunities. In this role, you will focus on lead generation, cold calling, and setting appointments with decision-makers to support our Account Executives.
**This is not a remote position; candidates will be required to work in-office**
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting:
- Conduct detailed market research to identify potential clients and industries that align with POND IoT's solutions.
- Use a variety of channels such as social media, online research, and networking events to generate new leads.
- Work closely with the marketing team to capitalize on inbound leads and nurture them effectively.
Cold Calling & Outreach:
- Conduct high-volume outbound calls and send targeted emails to engage key decision-makers.
- Present tailored messaging to address specific business challenges and spark interest in POND IoT's offerings.
- Develop a deep understanding of our telecommunications and IoT solutions to effectively communicate value to prospects.
Appointment Setting & Collaboration:
- Schedule qualified meetings and demos for the Account Executive team to drive deal progression.
- Ensure seamless handoffs by providing detailed information on each lead and their needs.
- Partner with Account Executives to strategize outreach efforts and ensure alignment on target accounts.
Sales Funnel & CRM Management:
- Maintain accurate records of activities, calls, emails, and lead interactions in SalesLoft CRM.
- Track lead status and ensure timely follow-ups to maximize conversion rates.
- Provide regular reports on lead generation activities and outcomes to the sales team.
What We're Looking For:
- At least 2 years of experience in a Sales or Business Development role, preferably in telecommunications.
- Proven success in cold calling and setting appointments.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and build rapport over the phone.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding lead generation targets.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with HubSpot CRM or similar tools to manage sales activities and leads.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple leads and opportunities simultaneously.
