Behavioral Healthcare Company specializing in drug and alcohol treatment is looking for an
Outreach Consultant/Business Development Rep for San Francisco and the surrounding areas.
Job Summary
Outreach Consultants are responsible for building relationships with qualified referral partners in assigned territory, for the purpose of facilitating admissions to our Treatment Programs and providing community support for those that are seeking treatment outside of our company.
Duties and Responsibilities: Identifies, builds, and maintains relationships with key referral partners.
Maintains a regular servicing schedule that organizes a balance of referral partner maintenance and new business development.
Manages all client related communication and sales activities in the Salesforce CRM.
Communication regarding referrals may frequently fall outside of regular business hours (including weekends).
Required to attend all team meetings, training and be on time and on camera unless otherwise approved by manager.
Occasional overnight travel may be required.
Outreach Consultant will be involved in the referral process from beginning to admission.
Outreach Consultants are measured monthly against Key Performance Indicators. (KPI’s) and a year-end Ebida goals for the company.
Has a general understanding of treatment modalities, levels of care, and industry best practices for behavioral health.
Possesses the ability to multitask, work with minimal supervision and problem solve through a variety of scenarios.
Conducts leads generations through face-to-face meetings, in-service, tours to identified targets i.e., hospitals, therapists, EAP’s, Addiction Treatment Centers and other account types identified by the Regional Manager.
Builds and maintains productive interdepartmental relationships.
Adheres to all expense limitations and guidelines and submits monthly expenses via Expensify by the designated deadline.
Ability to clearly communicate with key members of the team, regarding potential admits and clients in the pipeline.
Ability to assist clinical teams with discharge planning – identifying and contacting appropriate facilities for transfer of care when needed.
Knowledge of managed care and insurance- as it relates to behavioral health benefits- is a plus.
Outreach Coordinators must have the skills and competency to communicate with people at all levels of the organization, including- executive management, patients, and external agencies.
Education, Skills, Experience and Abilities: 3+ years related sales experience or training equivalent in behavioral health field
Knowledge of the behavioral health industry preferred, especially in SUD treatment
Organizational skills with the ability to multitask
Proficient in public speaking
Ability to travel within designated territory and may include some overnight travel.
Knowledge of Salesforce or CRM platforms
Ability to create reports outlining weekly visits
Valid driver's license, and ability to pass MVR check.
Must have reliable transportation
$725 monthly car stipend and excellent benefits
