Summary: This Outside Sales position – will improve relationships with property managers, facility directors, business owners, and construction project stakeholders to increase company revenue.
Essential Duties:
- Conduct cold calls to generate new leads.
- Network with property managers/business owners/construction trades.
- Track lead and prospect information in CRM software.
- Use email, text, and phone to follow up with leads and prospects.
- Create sales proposals for presentation to customers.
- Provide in-person and virtual presentations to prospects.
- Verify commission calculations for sales.
- Set and achieve goals weekly, monthly, quarterly.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Work toward continuous quality improvement.
- Stay current with changing technology, including software and office programs.
- Uphold, support, and promote all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, the individual in this position must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the minimum knowledge, skills and ability required.
Education/Experience: One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Must be able to pass a background check.
A valid state driver's license is required for this position.
Physical requirements are standing and sitting for long periods of time.
