Your job as a business development manager is to identify sales leads, pitch our services to new clients, maintain a good working relationship with new contacts and build a referral network. If the thought of sitting behind a desk all day gives you itchy feet, this could be the job for you. You'll be required to spend a large amount of time visiting clients and attending networking events. You'll usually work office hours, Monday to Friday, however some nights and weekends are required. You must have strong computer and social media skills, be a self-starter, time management, and task prioritization skills.
Responsibilities :
- Building a referral network with local businesses
- Calling leads and prospects setting up meetings for you/sales reps
- Relationship building
- Planning and preparing presentations
- Communicating new product developments to prospective clients
- Overseeing the development and providing feedback of marketing literature
- Collaborate with the sales team/office to promote our marketing plan
- Promoting and building our brand within the community
- Helping to garner 5-star online reviews from clients
- Working our booth at all trade shows and events
- Writing reports, updating tracking sheets, using our CRM and other tools
- Valid drivers license and reliable presentable vehicle is required.
Compensation:
- $80,000 - $150,000 annualy
- Base pay plus commission
