Overview:
T2S Solutions is seeking a proactive, passionate, and detail-oriented Business Development Operations Analyst to provide essential support to our business development and capture teams. This role combines analytical research with operational support to streamline internal business development processes, maintain data integrity, and provide actionable insights that drive informed decision-making.
The ideal candidate will focus on supporting the Growth Team by analyzing federal opportunities, optimizing pipeline integrity, enabling growth/capture processes, C-Suite/Private Equity Partner updates, and supporting the internal operational needs of the business development lifecycle. This role requires a strong emphasis on research, analysis, executive communication skills, problem solving, and operational support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research and Opportunity Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth research using tools such as GovWin, DACIS FPS Pro, FPDS, SAM.gov, and other tools to proactively identify and assess opportunities across DoD, IC, and Federal Civilian markets.
- Analyze customer requirements, acquisition trends, and program information to support business development and capture strategies. Support BD Executives with qualification of opportunities, and support Capture Managers with analysis and operational support in shaping/solutioning high pWIN deals.
- Provide actionable insights on market trends, upcoming procurements, and competitive landscape to align with T2S growth objectives.
- Pipeline Development and Management:
- Assist with input to the T2S opportunity pipeline in coordination with business developers and capture managers.
- Ensure pipeline opportunities are accurately recorded, updated, and tracked in the T2S CRM system.
- Provide regular updates to Growth Team leadership.
- Ensure compliance with T2S organizational standards.
- CRM and Data Integrity:
- Maintain CRM data accuracy by performing regular audits and updates to ensure reliable tracking of opportunities, customer interactions, and pipeline stages.
- Generate detailed CRM reports and dashboards to visualize opportunity progression, win probabilities, and team activities.
- Assist the T2S Growth Team with CRM best practices to ensure consistent use and further enable BD-driven pipeline velocity and data integrity.
- Business Intelligence Support:
- Monitor competitor activities, teaming arrangements, and pricing trends to identify opportunities for strategic positioning.
- Assist BD executives and capture managers with data-driven insights, including funding profiles, customer priorities, and other research to enhance capture strategies.
- Track emerging acquisition vehicles and contracting trends, including GWACs, IDIQs, and OTAs, to assist the Growth Team with long-term strategic planning.
- Operational Support:
- Assist in coordinating internal business development and capture processes.
- Develop and maintain operational templates and tools, such as compliance matrices, data repositories, and
- Support the preparation of internal growth team meetings by providing relevant reports, metrics, and insights.
- Engage with C-Suite, BD executives, Capture Managers, Operational Directors (VPs) and Program Managers, and as required – engage with customers, to obtain and report analysis and metrics to enable organic growth and on-contract-growth.
- Reporting and Metrics:
- Create and maintain dashboards and regular reports for leadership, summarizing pipeline health, market trends, and growth performance metrics.
- Engage with C-Suite, BD executives, Capture Managers, Operational Directors (VPs) and Program Managers, and as required – engage with customers, to obtain and report analysis and metrics to enable organic growth and on-contract-growth.
- Provide regular updates on pipeline metrics, including annual value targets, opportunity stages, and progress.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in business development, operations, market research, or a related role within the federal contracting space.
- Proficiency in business intelligence tools such as GovWin, SAM.gov, and FPDS.
- Familiarity with federal acquisition processes, including FAR/DFAR, GWACs, and OTAs.
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) for tracking and managing pipelines.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in creating dashboards and reports using Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present data-driven insights.
Desired Qualifications:
- 5-10+ years of experience in business development, operations, market research, or a related role within the federal contracting space.
- Advanced organizational acumen; process coordination and prioritization expertise
- Strong attention to detail combined with strong communication skills - "Detail-Oriented Communication."
- Expert level EXCEL skills; Outstanding skills with MS Office tools (PPT, WORD, etc) for all forms of written documents, RFI responses, and informational/decisional presentations
- Highly desirable to have expert SALESFORCE experience as a CRM tool.
- Strong passion for process, research/analysis, and operational support functions.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Keen Knowledge of DoD, IC, and Federal Civilian customer missions and priorities.
- Experience supporting internal BD, captures, and proposal operations and reviews.
- Ability to assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOP)or BD operations.
- Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, yet remote work environment.
