Are you a dynamic, results-driven professional with a passion for business development and marketing? We are seeking an experienced Business Development and Marketing Manager to join our esteemed legal firm. This is a permanent position that offers a golden opportunity to work in a stimulating environment, with a focus on creating and implementing strategic business development and marketing initiatives. The successful candidate will utilize their skills in business development, client research, industry trends, projects, and events to drive our firm's growth and brand visibility. This role is hybrid and requires 2-3 days in office a week.
Responsibilities:
As a Business Development and Marketing Manager, you will:
1. Develop and implement strategic business development plans to expand our client base and increase revenue.
2. Conduct thorough client research to understand their needs and tailor our services accordingly.
3. Stay abreast with industry trends, providing insights to the team and adapting strategies as necessary.
4. Oversee the management of projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
5. Organize and participate in events to enhance brand visibility and cultivate relationships with potential clients.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align our business goals and marketing efforts.
7. Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of business development strategies and marketing campaigns, making necessary adjustments for optimum results.
8. Provide leadership in the development of proposals, presentations, and other client-facing materials.
9. Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling our services.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. 3-5 years of experience in business development and marketing, preferably within the legal industry.
2. Proven track record of developing and executing business development strategies that have resulted in significant growth.
3. Strong knowledge of the legal industry, including the latest trends and challenges.
4. Exceptional client research skills, with the ability to translate findings into actionable business development plans.
5. Experience in project management, with a demonstrated ability to oversee projects from inception to completion.
6. Proficiency in organizing and participating in events that enhance brand visibility and client engagement.
7. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to work collaboratively with a team, as well as independently.
9. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Law, or a related field. A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
