About the Job
As a Business Development & Marketing Associate at PERSUIT, you will play a crucial role in driving new business opportunities and building our sales pipeline across North America. You’ll work closely with the sales and marketing teams to identify and execute strategies that connect our target accounts with key stakeholders and industry advocates. This role is ideal for someone eager to make an impact and develop their skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
This role will be hybrid- working 2-3 days/week from our NYC office.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Research - Identify and research potential relationships between PERSUIT’s “champions” in the market and target prospect accounts to drive pipeline growth.
- Execute High-Quality “Plays” - Develop and implement strategies that connect our prospect contacts with advocates within and around PERSUIT.
- Event Support - Assist in maximizing the impact of PERSUIT-owned or industry events/conferences by supporting event logistics, execution, and follow-up as needed.
- Inbound Lead Qualification - Qualify inbound activity to identify high-potential leads for the Enterprise Sales team.
- Research & Data Projects - Conduct specific, high-value research and data entry projects that support the sales team's efforts, providing insights and intel for Account Executives (AEs).
- Account Intel Sharing - Provide key relevance hooks by sharing account intel and public signals (e.g., scouting earnings call transcripts, identifying leadership changes at target accounts).
- Sales & Marketing Support - Assist with occasional sales or marketing-related tasks, including running errands for event setups, execution, or follow-up.
- Collaboration - Partner with Account Executives on high-value projects specific to prospective deals, supporting strategic initiatives.
Requirements
Who We’re Looking For
- Experience - 2+ in a Business Development Representative (BDR), sales coordinator, marketing coordinator, go-to-market support, or financial analyst role.
- CRM & Research Tools - Experience with HubSpot and ZoomInfo, or similar CRM and data-surfacing tools, is preferred. Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus.
- Curiosity & Passion - A strong interest in exploring sales and marketing functions with a curiosity about various roles within these functions.
- Outcome-Driven - Demonstrated ability to take initiative, set goals, and achieve results.
- Attention to Detail - Takes pride in producing high-quality work with a "no job is too big or too small" attitude.
- Adaptability - Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously.
Base salary for NYC based applicants - $60,000.
