Job Overview:
The Business Development Manager for Member Recruitment is responsible for driving new membership growth nationwide and eventually globally. This role will focus on identifying potential members, developing targeted outreach strategies, and executing initiatives to grow our association's membership base. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong communication skills, a knack for relationship-building, and a proven record in sales or business development within the stone/countertop fabrication sector(s).
Key Responsibilities:
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in business development, sales, or membership recruitment, ideally with experience in associations or related industries. Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.

- Membership Growth: Develop and implement strategies to identify, attract, and recruit new members.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with prospective members through outreach activities, networking events, and direct communications.
- Market Research: Conduct research to identify target markets, key players, and industry trends to inform recruitment strategies. Research the latest in the industry and create new opportunities to expand business and attract new members.
- Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and execute sales strategies, presentations, and proposals tailored to different market segments.
- CRM Management: Utilize CRM tools to track leads, manage relationships, and report on the effectiveness of recruitment campaigns.
- Event Participation: Represent the association at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote membership and increase brand awareness.
- Collaboration: Work closely full team to develop consistent messaging and ensure new members are seamlessly integrated into the association’s offerings.

- Knowledge of the surface fabrication industry.
- Strong understanding of industry products and services as well as a hunger to attract new members.
