Fives Group is seeking a passionate Business Developer to join and represent on the North American market our digital strategic subsidiary.

You'll be instrumental in driving business growth by identifying and securing high-value customers for our cutting-edge Industrial-IoT solutions. Based on a strong field operation experience consolidated over decades, the CortX Alchemy solution provides unique IIoT uses cases applications to collect, contextualize and process high frequency industrial machines data to unleash industrial performance. Productivity increase, advanced maintenance, quality optimization & energy reduction will be your playground.
In this role, you will:
• Lead the sales charge for our digital IIoT applications portfolio in the North American industrial market.
• Find and manage new customers to support the business growth.
• Partner with our subsidiaries to deliver comprehensive solutions that align with our customers' challenges.
• Team with our digital expert to leverage value proposition of our solution to both field manager audiences and high-level decision-makers.
To be successful, you'll have:
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in B2B sales within the industrial sector.
• A strong understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts and the transformative power of Digital IIoT digital solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to identify, manage, secure and close deals with key stakeholders.
• The ability to build strong relationships and navigate complex sales cycles.
• A deep understanding of the North American industrial landscape, culture, and its specific needs.
Main Tasks / Responsibilities
• Develop and execute in collaboration with the management at HQ, a local Sales Strategy targeting high-value customers in North American industrial sectors covered by our offering.
• Identify and Qualify Leads: Proactively research business opportunities as well as build a close relationship with the local Fives subsidiaries
• Manage the Sales Cycle: Lead potential customers through the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to proposal creation, negotiation, and contract closure.
• Address either digital mature and unmature customer needs and challenges in order promote and sell Fives CortX innovative IIoT solutions.
• Deliver Value Propositions: Clearly communicate the technical and commercial benefits of the solutions to both technical audiences and high-level decision-makers.
• Build Channel Partnerships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with strategic partners to expand market reach.
• Market watch: Continuously monitor the needs, challenges, and pain points of target customer segments as well as competition to propose adaptation of the CortX product Roadmap.

Functional responsibility for collective deliverables of the global software development teams, noting that hierarchical reporting may be at the divisional level.

Education, Training and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in industrial automation and/or industrial Software applications for industry 4.0
- Extensive knowledge of Industrial Automation, control systems and Machine tool Industry and their systems (CNC, PLC, …)
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and remotely.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Awareness / knowledge of cyber-security and data-management legislation and compliance methods in the US, Europe and China.
Preferred:
Customer Service or Sales Support experience.
Previous experience in an industrial software company
Experience with automation and its integration with machine tools
Experience in cloud application development and data science
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Fluency in French would be advantageous
Position Type, Expected Work Hours and Travel
Full time, 5 days per week. Flexible hours to suit CortX headquarters teams' time zones. Travel (up to 50%) to customers and partner facilities.
