Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Maintaining and nurturing relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
2. Identifying potential new clients and business opportunities, utilizing your unique knowledge of seafood or equivalent.
3. Developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business growth.
4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure client satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise.
5. Providing regular reports and updates to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and competition.
6. Participating in industry events and conferences to network with potential clients and stay informed about the latest industry trends.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales role, preferably as a Business Development Manager.
2. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
3. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
4. Strong knowledge of seafood industry with the ability to leverage this knowledge to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve client issues promptly and effectively.
6. Ability to work well in a team, as well as independently.
7. Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
8. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
