The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Business Development Manager for TEBG located in the Bay Area you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hyperscale customers. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver custom solutions based on customer needs.
- Work with cross-functional teams to create custom proposals, quotes, and pricing models that meet customer specifications and company profitability goals.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning in the high-speed cable assembly market. Develop and implement growth strategies for existing and new customers.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of high-speed cable assembly products and industry standards. Stay updated on technological advancements to provide expert consultation to customers.
- Develop partnerships with suppliers, manufacturers, and other stakeholders to enhance product offerings and expand market reach.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing or Engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start)
- Four (4) years of experience in Global sales, business development, product management within high-speed copper or optical industry specific to Hyperscale Data Centers in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Master's degree in Business, Marketing or Engineering from an accredited institution
- Eight (8) years with high-speed copper oropticalapplications for data center customers
- Five (5) years of direct experience with hyperscale data center customers
- Experience working with a cross functional team to introduce new and existing products to key customers.
- Project Management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Salesforce Experience
- Proficient Presentation Skills
- Proficient Communication Skills
- Ability to travel domestic and internationally
Work location:
- San Francisco/ San Jose (remote)
Travel: May include up to50% domestic and international

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $183,301 - $224,034, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
