Job Description: Business Development Manager - Restoration Services

This role offers excellent earning potential with a competitive compensation package:
- Base Salary Range: $60,000 - $95,000
- Commission Opportunity: $50,000 - $160,000 (On Target Earnings)
- Vehicle Allowance
About the Role:
As our Business Development Manager, you'll play a crucial role in expanding our client base and driving revenue growth. You'll develop and nurture relationships with potential customers in your assigned vertical and geographic area. This position combines inside and outside sales activities, including networking, lead generation, social media engagement, and active participation in industry associations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate new business opportunities and expand existing relationships
- Conduct face-to-face meetings with prospects and clients
- Identify and pursue high-value "whale" leads
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and achieve profit margin targets
- Actively participate in industry associations, aiming for leadership positions
- Prepare and present compelling sales proposals
- Meet or exceed sales activity thresholds through various channels (client meetings, events, phone, social media, email)
- Accurately document and track leads and activities in our CRM system
- Achieve yearly individual sales goals
- Represent our company at tradeshows, golf tournaments, and promotional events
- Collaborate with leadership on association involvement and budgeting
- Contribute positively to our company culture and community
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of outside sales experience (restoration industry experience preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
- Intermediate-level Microsoft Office skills
- Experience with CRM systems for sales tracking
- Valid driver's license
- Outgoing, driven, tenacious, and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to attend networking functions 2 evenings per week
- Willingness to travel locally (25%) with occasional out-of-area overnight trips
