We're seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. As a vital member of our company, you'll play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, expanding our market presence, and fostering strong client relationships.
Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development: Craft and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company objectives to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders, serving as their primary point of contact.
New Business Acquisition: Identify and pursue opportunities to acquire new clients, generate leads, and convert prospects into successful partnerships, consistently increasing sales and market share.
Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to inform strategic decision-making and capitalize on market gaps.
Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of our products and services, effectively communicating their unique value propositions to potential clients through various channels.
Negotiation and Deal Closure: Skillfully negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
Sales Performance Metrics: Set and surpass ambitious sales targets, delivering top-tier performance to drive company growth.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and optimal customer satisfaction.
Event Coordination: Support event planning efforts, including travel to trade shows and industry events as required.
Reporting and Analytics: Provide regular, comprehensive sales reports and analysis to leadership, offering valuable insights into performance.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree.
Minimum of five (5) years of successful experience as a Business Development Manager.
Strong network and relationships within the travel industry.
Experience in selling to the groups market, including destination weddings, corporate incentives, and social groups.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales analytics tools.
Willingness to travel as needed.
Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
Familiarity with popular travel destinations and cultural nuances.
