Business Development Manager - Regional and Audiophile Channel
Location: Aurora, IL
Purpose of Role:
As the Business Development Manager for key accounts and the audiophile segment, you will play a crucial role in enhancing processes and achieving sales targets for premium Sennheiser products, focusing on Audiophile / High End offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive process improvements and manage sales operations for Sennheiser products.
Exceed sales objectives and KPIs through strategic account management.
Expand Sennheiser's market presence in wireless, military, travel, and regional audio specialty channels to increase brand share and distribution.
Develop and execute a winning Audiophile strategy for North America, driving revenue growth, market share, profitability, and brand awareness.
Collaborate closely with marketing on Audiophile events, consumer engagement activities, and in-store brand experiences.
Create annual sales plans, promotional strategies, product assortments, and merchandising initiatives.
Analyze market trends to identify opportunities and foster new business relationships.
Participate in sales forecasting processes to enhance accuracy and revenue projections.
Travel within assigned territories to engage with existing and potential customers.
Represent the brand at audiophile events and cultivate relationships within enthusiast communities.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
Minimum 8 years of experience in business development or consumer electronics / retail sales management, with a focus on premium audio products.
Demonstrated success in budget management and P&L oversight.
Strong understanding of retail pricing strategies, market dynamics, and experience in e-commerce sales.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Results-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and change implementation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM tools, and ERP systems.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, promoting a positive work environment.
Additional Information:
This role may require up to 30% travel.
High-speed internet access (minimum 200Mb/sec download, 10Mb/sec upload) is required for remote/hybrid work capabilities.
