Business Development Manager
Sales Representative with a hunter mentality to expand presence in the automotive fabrication industry. The ideal candidate will focus on generating new business opportunities and building strong relationships with customers. This is a high-energy, client-facing role for a sales professional passionate about prospecting, closing deals, and helping customers enhance their operations with superior solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospecting & Lead Generation:
- Identify and target potential customers within the automotive fabrication sector, including OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and other relevant businesses.
- Actively research industry trends and attend trade shows or networking events to generate leads.
Sales Strategy Execution:
- Develop and execute a sales plan to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Conduct cold calls, emails, and in-person visits to secure new accounts.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build strong, long-term relationships with decision-makers, engineers, and procurement teams.
Product Expertise:
Provide product demonstrations and technical consultations to customers.- Address customer concerns, answer technical questions, and coordinate with internal teams for customized solutions.
Negotiation & Closing:
- Lead pricing discussions, negotiate contracts, and finalize sales agreements.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.
Collaboration & Reporting:
- Work closely with engineering, production, and logistics teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Provide regular updates to management on sales activity, pipeline progress, and market conditions.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record as a hunter in B2B sales
- Experience selling technical or engineered products; knowledge of quality rack systems is a plus.
- Excellent prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical solutions in a clear and persuasive manner.
- Proficient with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel extensively to meet with clients and attend industry events.

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
