Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Achieve business/sales targets through effective management of new customer accounts and maintain current customer accounts.
- Identify and target potential clients in various industries who require precision machining and manufacturing services.
- Effectively pitch to both small-medium sized regional accounts, as well as large corporate and national accounts.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients through cold calling, networking, referrals, and other lead-generation methods.
- Maintain deep knowledge and understanding of all the business services and product lines to emphasize the features and benefits of machinery and capabilities.
- Conduct thorough research on client needs, industry trends, and competitive offerings to effectively position our machine shop's services.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in sales and/or key account management within a manufacturing setting.
- Strong preference for metal fabrication or contract manufacturing experience.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering concepts and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, understand their needs, and provide effective solutions.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
