POSITION TITLE: Business Development Manager

SUMMARY: As Business Development, your primary responsibility is to promote and sell industrial pump repair services to customers in various industries.
DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the target market segments to expand the customer base for industrial pump repair services.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue.
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with existing and potential customers, addressing their concerns and queries promptly and professionally.
- Acquire an in-depth understanding of the company’s industrial pump repair services and demonstrate expertise in the products to confidently communicate their benefits to customers.
- Assess customer needs and provide customized solutions that address their specific pump repair requirements, offering the best-fitting services and products.
- Prepare accurate and competitive quotations and proposals for customers, ensuring all relevant details are included.
- Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations to customers, highlighting the value of the company’s industrial pump repair services.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and progress toward targets, reporting this information to management regularly.
- Collaborate with the pump repair team, engineers, and other departments to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions to network and generate leads.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ experience in industrial sales, preferably in pump repair services or related industries.
- Strong technical knowledge of industrial pumps and their repair requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build lasting relationships with customers.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads and sales activities.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to travel to customer sites and industry events as required.
