We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our team. This is a permanent role that offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our company's growth and success by driving sales objectives, fostering customer relationships, and responding effectively to market changes and conditions.
Responsibilities:
As a Business Development Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Developing and implementing strategic business development plans to achieve or exceed sales objectives.
2. Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing suitable solutions.
3. Conducting market research to identify new business opportunities and understand market changes and conditions.
4. Leading meetings and presentations to explain our company's products or services to potential clients.
5. Collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
6. Negotiating contracts and closing agreements to maximize profits.
7. Attending industry events and conferences to generate new business leads and stay abreast of industry trends and developments.
8. Providing management with feedback and periodic reports on progress towards sales objectives.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a business development rol
2. Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
3. Strong business sense and industry expertise in the Scientific field.
4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
5. Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services and position them against competitors.
6. Demonstrable experience in leading meetings and presentations.
7. Solid understanding of market changes and conditions.
8. International and domestic travel will be required
