Job Description
PCI is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager for its PCI Houston, TX operations based in Pasadena, TX. This individual will be responsible for the following duties:
- Implement strategic sales and marketing plans
- Collaborating with operational leadership to develop strategies for selling all aspects, product lines, and capabilities of the company in the petrochemical business sector.
- Understanding and conveying the value propositions and differentiators of the Company to the clients
- Research and report innovations, products, and processes in preparation for client presentations.
- Attend industry-specific Conferences, Expos, Workshops, and Charity events as appropriate.
- Work with the Corporate Marketing Department to develop marketing materials / social media.
- Support connectivity of all clients and agents with the appropriate Company teams and operations
- Partner with operations to develop quotes and proposals for clients and assist in project contract negotiations.
- Regularly connect with prospective clients to provide information on PCI scopes of work
Requirements
Basic Requirements:
- At least 5 years of leadership experience in operational, commercial, and business development in industrial, commercial services, or related industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Construction Management, Construction Science, Business/Marketing or related field, or comparable work experience.
Preferred Requirements:
- Ability to create instant credibility, generate interest, and articulate PCI’s value proposition.
- Meticulous with excellent follow-up skills.
- Demonstrated success in creating and articulating complex strategies and plans to both executive management and peers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Superb customer service skills.
- Critical thinking skills.
- Ability to build industry network and regular participation/leadership in industry-recognized organizations.
- Ability to use multiple lead generation tools such as LinkedIn and other online tools.
