The Tidy Queens, a premier provider of janitorial services, is seeking a driven and enthusiastic Sales Executive to join our Chicago office. This role is crucial for expanding our client base and driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills, a deep understanding of customer needs, and the ability to build and maintain lasting client relationships. This will also lead into a leadership role which requires a results-oriented professional with a proven track record in sales leadership, preferably in the janitorial or service industry.
Responsibilities:
- Understand The Tidy Queens culture fully
- Identify and qualify potential clients, generating leads and referrals to secure new janitorial contracts.
- Schedule and conduct meetings with prospective clients to understand their needs and present our service offerings.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand our market presence.
-Schedule and conduct meetings with clients (goal: 8-12 per month) to discuss service needs and make initial presentations
-Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Maintain a detailed and organized CRM system to track all client interactions and sales activities.
- Collaborate with the operations and marketing teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Conduct regular prospecting activities, including cold calls, networking events, and follow-ups.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market feedback to inform strategic decisions.
- Maintain a positive work environment by behaving and communicating in a professional manner, fostering effective interactions with clients, colleagues, and managers.
Position Requirements:
- Proven experience in a sales role, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
- Coachable, team player with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and driven to succeed.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with CRM systems is highly desirable.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Can-do attitude with a passion for overcoming challenges and achieving targets.
- Organized within a defined sales process with the ability to move clients from prospect to close.
Experience Level:
- 1-3 years of experience preferred, but not required
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
