Job Description
- Identify new business opportunities.
- Primary focus on Trans-Pacific Import Air & Ocean freight.
- Develop relationships with medium-sized Import accounts, beginning with prospecting, introductory phone calls, organized follow up, understanding potential client’s needs, develop client solutions and strategies.
- Maintain close communications with clients, origin offices and operations team.
- Understand clients’ requirements and communicate/document so operational team can deliver on clients’ expectations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Ideal Candidate
- Has an established book of business.
- Hybrid working - 2 days in office, 3 days working remote & visiting clients.

- Strong & Effective Communications verbal & written skills

- Understanding of air & ocean freight pricing models
- Proficiency with Microsoft office.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Self-guided motivation
Experience
- Minimum 4 years Freight Forwarding and Customs Brokerage industry experience.
- Working knowledge of international logistics and trade.
Requirements
- Ability to travel domestically as needed.
