We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager with a solid background in the energy industry to join our team in Miami, Florida. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales strategy planning, relationship building, and market development. This role requires a proactive professional with strong technical expertise and an ability to manage sales processes efficiently while delivering tailored energy solutions to clients.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business growth and market penetration in energy-related projects and solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, industry stakeholders, and market influencers.
- Drive consultative selling initiatives to identify and meet customer needs effectively.
- Utilize tools like Salesforce, Excel, and PowerPoint to manage sales processes, prepare reports, and deliver impactful presentations.
- Draft commercial letters in English, Spanish, and Portuguese (preferred).
- Oversee project budgets, monitor execution, and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Leverage market insights to identify new opportunities in renewable and thermal energy fields.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is required; Portuguese is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in energy or energy-related projects and solutions.
- Extensive knowledge of the energy market, with strong contacts and established relationships with key customers.
- Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on results and consultative sales approaches.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint, and other sales tools.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and manage sales cycles effectively.
Preferred Experience:
- Deep understanding of renewable and thermal energy sectors. Industry experience or technical electrical engineering.
- Experience developing and executing sales strategies within the energy industry.
