Astroscale U.S. is currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team in Southern California. This role is a key member of the Astroscale US team and reports directly to Senior Director of Business Development, National Security.
- Develop and implement business development campaigns that identify and develop national security opportunities in the intermountain west region and led capture and bid efforts on key opportunities.
- Collaborate with engineering team in development of opportunity-specific solutions across the full range of national security activities.
- Support development of sales enablement and thought leadership marketing materials through collaboration with MarComms, Policy, and Government Relations teams.
- Remain current on the latest on-orbit services competitive landscape and market, contribute to forecasting of national security and intelligence community sales and the solutions roadmap.
- Provide regular reporting on sales progress, pipeline development, and forecasts to senior leadership.
- Meeting frequently with customers ad attend conferences and industry events as necessary to represent Astroscale U.S. and close business.
- A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in aerospace or relevant technology sector.
- Proven track record of delivering sales and meeting or exceeding targets.
- Exhibit outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building abilities both internally and externally, demonstrating a high level of integrity and professionalism in all interactions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present and negotiate with high-level stakeholders.
- Possess an in-depth understanding of the defense space sector, including US Space Force, SpaceCom, Air Force Research Labs, and similar agencies.
- Knowledge of trends, challenges, events, and requirements in the global Defense market.

Salary range: $110-140k. The salary range represents the low and high end of the Astroscale U.S. Inc. salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, knowledge, and ability as applicable to the role.
