Overview
REHAU Incorporated, a leading international construction materials manufacturer, is seeking an outgoing and detailed-oriented Business Development Manager for our Furniture Solutions (FS) Division. Known in the industry as a leading edging supplier, we've systematically expanded our role in the architectural millwork and woodworking community by providing the latest technology in edging as well as sourcing curated, trend-setting surface and cabinet door solutions for our customers.

- Pursue sales leads; visit existing and / or new customers as well as commercial and technical support of existing customers. Create New Business with new customers and/or new products. Respond to customer enquiries; negotiate prices and delivery times and contracts within limited authority and conclude sales orders to meet revenue targets.
- Develop sales plans for customers, monitor and adapt sales activities in order to meet the objectives.
- Intensively monitor the competitors and fixing competitive sales prices in alignment with the manager sales. Calculate in alignment with the Regional Sales Manager. Place and negotiate offers. Prepare and successfully negotiate pricing measures in alignment with the manager sales.
- Ongoing market research and requirement analysis. Refer sales leads, customer feedback, and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts within the organization so they can respond to changing market conditions and customer demands.
- Prepare and implement customer events (trade fairs, presentations, lectures, etc.)
Qualifications
Qualifications;
3-7 years of experience in outside sales.
Preferred candidates will reside either in Washington or Oregon, but open to consideration based on the right candidate.
A background in millwork, woodworking and laminate fabrication is desirable and a huge plus.
Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
Willingness to work with a base salary plus commission.
Able to travel to Canada.
