We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to help us grow our client base, manage relationships, and bring in exciting IT projects that will drive the future of our company.
Job Description:We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team. The BDM will be responsible for driving the acquisition of new clients and securing new IT projects. This individual will actively prospect, develop, and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in target markets, with a strong focus on bringing in IT-related projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and prospect potential clients in need of IT services (custom software development, cloud solutions, IT consulting, etc.).
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute strategies to acquire new clients and IT projects while maintaining a strong pipeline of opportunities.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, understanding their IT needs and offering tailored solutions to meet those needs.
- Project Scoping & Proposal Development: Work closely with the technical and project management teams to understand client requirements and create compelling proposals.
- Market Research & Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor offerings to strategically position our services in the market.
- Contract Negotiations: Lead discussions and negotiations with clients to close contracts, ensuring mutual satisfaction and long-term success.
- Revenue & Growth Goals: Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals, reporting on progress and results to senior management.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with marketing and technical teams to deliver customized IT solutions that align with client needs.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience (8+ years) in business development or sales within the IT services industry.
- Strong understanding of IT services, technology trends, and client needs (experience in areas such as software development, IT consulting, cloud computing, or similar).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong networking abilities to identify and develop business relationships.
- Ability to understand client pain points and translate them into tailored IT solutions.
- Experience with CRM software and pipeline management tools.
- Results-oriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with IT project management methodologies and software development lifecycle.
- Experience in lead generation, cold calling, and presenting IT solutions to senior decision-makers.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events or conferences.
