Business Development Manager | General Manager
Summary of Need:
- This person will be responsible for managing the day-to-day business development and operational duties of a large construction/engineering organization in Tempe, AZ.
- The ideal person will have a strong background in the management of different departments as well as the sales and business development of the territory.
- This person should have a “future growth” mindset while being responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of project teams and other departments.
- This individual will be responsible for managing and building the “brand” for the Arizona location with ample support for corporate HQ’s in California.
- The General manager is responsible for running day-to-day operations and guiding general business strategy. Their duties include overseeing all departments and decisions which include, all operations, production, finance, tracking cash flow, and helping set guidelines, rules and goals (rocks) for their teams.
- They are part of the Leadership Team, and they collaborate with the leaders, directors, owners, and all the managers to ensure that the company is profitable, safe, and efficient. The GM will walk alongside the Leadership Team that are making the day-to-day, week-to-week, and month-to-month decisions and help support and lead big picture decisions.
- The GM’s primary focus will be to oversee, manage and lead the day-to-day, week to week and month-to-month of the entire AZ division and all of its leadership, managers and directors
- The GM must be able to build, manage and oversee all company, divisional and individual goals making sure they are supported and have the proper resources to accomplish them.
- The BDM/GM must work closely with the finance team and monitor bills, spending, vendors, subcontractors, rentals, products, and services.
- This person will be responsible for building out more crews, and working with Sales to close business, all while managing the day to day activities of the organization.

- PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
- Pay Range: 120-150K+ *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

Salary
$135000 - $150000 per annum
