Job Details
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Business Development Manager to join our growing team in the Healthcare industry. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in driving sales and business growth, particularly within the medical devices sector. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary, commission structure, and benefits. You will be joining a collaborative team environment where your contributions will have a direct impact on the success of our business.
Responsibilities:
As a Business Development Manager, your primary responsibilities will be:
1. Lead generation and prospecting: Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and other lead generation strategies.
2. Territory management: Develop and implement strategic sales plans for your assigned territory to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
3. Direct sales: Conduct outside sales visits, negotiate contracts and close deals to drive sales and revenue growth.
4. Medical devices sales: Leverage your knowledge and experience in the medical devices sector to effectively sell our products and services to healthcare providers.
5. Enterprise sales: Work with large healthcare organizations to identify their needs and provide tailored solutions that meet their objectives.
6. Quota: Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and quotas.
7. Hunter: Actively seek out new sales opportunities through networking, social media, and industry events.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the healthcare or medical devices sector.
3. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas.
4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers.
5. Strong knowledge of the healthcare industry and medical devices sector.
6. Experience in cold calling, prospecting, and lead generation.
7. Ability to manage a territory effectively, with a focus on driving sales and business growth.
8. Self-motivated and results-driven, with a 'hunter' mentality.
9. Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
10. Ability to travel as needed for outside sales visits and industry events.
