We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager with a background in Data Center and/or Reverse Supply Chain. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and business development within the data center industry.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the data center industry.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
- Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly.
- Review market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.
- Deliver sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.
- Meet with key clients, assisting sales representatives with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
- Coordinate liaison between sales department and other sales-related units.
- Analyze and control expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements.
- Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
- Represent company at trade association meetings to promote the product.
- Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in sales and business development preferably within the data center industry.
- Proven track record in sales, business development, and winning new business.
- Proven track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads.
- Strong understanding of IDC and Network Equipment.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience in drafting business proposals.
- Ability to understand client needs and handle the negotiation process.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- 15% travel required for this position
