We are working with our client Located in Kansas City, MO to find a motivated and experienced part-time Business Development Professional to join their team for an on-going contract role. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and leads to expand the distribution and sales of innovative beauty products.

We are working with our client Located in Kansas City, MO to find a motivated and experienced part-time Business Development Professional to join their team for an on-going contract role. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and leads to expand the distribution and sales of innovative beauty products.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify potential new business partners, including brick-and-mortar retail stores, online marketplaces, and other distribution channels
- Reach out to prospective partners to pitch products, negotiate terms, and secure new sales agreements
- Maintain a robust pipeline of leads and actively manage the sales process from initial contact to closed deals
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling sales presentations and promotional materials
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to build relationships and uncover new business prospects
- Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline progress, and new business opportunities
- Assist in the development of strategic growth plans and expansion initiatives
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the beauty, retail, or e-commerce industries
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present and negotiate with decision-makers
- Proven record of success
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities
- Familiarity with the beauty and personal care product landscape, including industry trends and competitive landscape
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales and marketing tools
- Flexible schedule and willingness to work part-time, with the potential for increased hours as the business grows
