Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive leader and results-driven Business Development Manager to expand our market presence and drive revenue growth in the greater Chicago, IL area. This role will be instrumental in driving sales, fostering partnerships, and expanding our presence in the local market. Additionally, the Business Development Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the sales efforts of our New York City offices remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Chicago, IL area to drive revenue growth.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed targets.
- Cultivate relationships with prospective clients, understand their needs, and tailor solutions to meet their requirements.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
Networking and Relationship Building:
- Build and maintain a strong network of industry contacts, including local businesses, startups, freelancers, and professionals.
- Attend networking events, industry conferences, and community gatherings to promote our coworking spaces and establish our brand presence.
- Leverage existing relationships and referrals to generate leads and expand our client base.
Location Development and Management:
- Oversee the development and growth of our new Chicago, IL location, ensuring it remains competitive and aligned with market demands.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance the offerings and amenities of the coworking space to meet the evolving needs of members.
- Conduct market research and stay informed about industry trends to inform strategic decision-making.
Remote Support for New York City Offices:
- Provide remote support to our New York City offices by assisting with sales initiatives, lead generation, and client relationship management.
- Collaborate with the sales team in New York City to ensure alignment with overall business objectives and sales targets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven track record of success in sales, business development, or a related field.
- Strong networking abilities with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills, has the ability to effectively articulate value propositions while influencing stakeholders at all levels. (Multi-lingual is a plus)
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Prior experience in the coworking industry or real estate sector is a plus.
- Ability to work remotely and collaborate effectively with teams in different locations.
Salary Range:
$50,000 - $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience plus bonus structure.
