Hydraway Business Development Manager
Intech Anchoring Systems (Intech) has been supplying commercial and industrial contractors with geo-structural engineering products, materials, and solutions for 25 years. Intech Anchoring is also the manufacturer of the Hydraway Drainage System that is used extensively in industry to provide drainage solutions across many verticals. Intech has an immediate opening and for a Business Development / Outside Sales representative focused on our Hydraway Drainage Systems solutions.
In this high-profile position, your principal responsibility will be Business Development and product sales to Distributors, sub-contractors, and engineers within the United States. Other duties will include but are not limited to contract negotiations, daily management of specific verticals and project support, and collaborating with our in-house engineering team to support client needs.
Qualified candidates must have:
- 3-5 years Outside sales experience.
- Ability to manage a large region of country and travel requirements.
- Ability to travel 30-40% of work week.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous work in storm water management, sports field construction, residential foundation solutions, golf course construction, or landscape construction knowledge
- Works well in Hybrid role – can explain day to day processes of how they manage objectives.
- Experience working with large water works distribution suppliers, landscape solutions distributors, or synthetic turf distributors/manufactures, and geotechnical solutions distributors.
- Previous OEM experience working with relatively new product line.
- College degree preferred.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Familiarity with contractual requirements related to the construction business.
- Proven experience working effectively as a liaison with Engineers, General Contractors, and Owners
- Excellent communication, organizational, writing and computer skills.
Extensive training provided.
Hydraway BDM would preferably be based in the St. Louis area however based on experience level would consider remote based office.
