Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team in the role of Business Development Manager/Brand Strategist. This leadership position is pivotal in driving the organization's mission forward by spearheading strategic brand development, revenue generation, and fostering industry engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy and Development:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive brand strategy aligned with FSI's goals and initiatives.
- Ensure consistency in messaging, visual identity, and brand positioning across all FSI platforms and communication channels.
- Cultivate a deep understanding of FSI's brand among staff, members, and industry stakeholders.
- Play a key role in curating FSI conferences and events, including panel discussions and keynote speakers.
Revenue Generation:
- Identify and capitalize on revenue-generating opportunities across FSI's media channels, including trade publications, events, membership, and education offerings.
- Drive significant growth in sponsor revenue for all events.
- Establish referral networks and partnerships within the industry to drive revenue growth.
- Monitor revenue performance and adapt strategies to meet or exceed targets.
Industry Engagement:
- Serve as the ambassador of the FSI brand, representing the organization at industry events, conferences, and speaking engagements.
- Develop and nurture relationships with key industry players to foster collaboration and strategic partnerships.
- Maintain a thought leadership presence in the mortgage and real estate industry, staying informed about industry trends and issues.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with the core team of professionals responsible for branding, marketing, and revenue generation.
- Set clear goals, provide guidance, and ensure team alignment with the organization's mission.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record in developing and executing brand strategy, revenue generation, and business development, with a focus on the mortgage industry.
- Extensive network of contacts within the mortgage and real estate sector.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of representing FSI as a thought leader.
- Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to achieve revenue targets.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Passion for promoting home ownership and advancing the goals of FSI.
