JOB SUMMARY
The Business Development Representative (BDR) should be familiar with both SaaS and the Real Estate industry as they will be responsible for increasing sales revenue for TotalBrokerage software solutions selling to Real Estate Brokerages across the world. This full time in-office contract position is responsible for identifying and qualifying leads, executing introductory calls and scheduling product demo meetings. In addition to having excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skills, our Business Development Representative will put client needs first working to develop strong business relationships based in trust.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct prospecting through emails, LinkedIn, and cold calling potential customers to generate new business opportunities
- Qualify prospects using lists, reports and self-prospecting strategies
- Drive revenue through scheduling customer meetings and conference calls with prospective clients to effectively present our company and product
- Meet and exceed weekly and monthly sales metrics and revenue targets
- Assist marketing with conversion metrics on various lead generation inputs
- Maintain and update our Customer Relations Management (CRM) database
- Prepare accurate reports on a daily, weekly or monthly basis as defined by management
- Build strong and resourceful relationships with clients and teammates in order to ensure customer satisfaction, resolve issues, provide key feedback, facilitate retention, and drive business growth
- Complete remote software demonstrations while providing excellent problem-solving solutions and support
- Use the leadership team's feedback to make continuous adjustments and improvements to prospecting and qualifying efforts
- Provide administrative support and execute other responsibilities as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

- 1 year sales experience required; software sales experience preferred
- Candidate must be eager to learn and develop a career in the SaaS industry
- Strong ability to learn new technologies, organize, and be adaptable
- Consultative communication and negotiation skills by phone, in-person and in writing
- Excellent time-management, analytical thinking, and issue-resolution skills
- Some B2B SaaS or cloud sales a plus
- Candidate should be able to effectively articulate the distinct aspects and benefits of our services and products
- Proven communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to both operate independently and cross-functionally in collaboration with internal client Success, solution Engineers, and Marketing teams as required
- Highly motivated self-starter able to achieve results while balancing demanding expectations in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Administration, Marketing, or equivalent experience in a related field
- Comfortable meeting sales performance metrics and experienced with cloud-based CRMs like Salesforce, Zoho, or Hubspot
- Advanced proficiency in Mac computer skills, including Google Workspace
