Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
2. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
3. Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
4. Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market, utilizing effective prospecting and cold calling techniques.
5. Work closely with the sales team to develop and implement strategies for new business.
6. Regularly liaise with other managers to ensure fluidity and cohesiveness in company operations and strategy.
7. Use knowledge of the market and competitors to identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
8. Negotiate and close business deals that promote sustained revenue.
9. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are fulfilled effectively.
10. Attend industry events and conferences to generate new business leads and stay updated on industry trends.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or relevant industry experience.
2. A minimum of 5 years of proven work experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Executive, or a relevant role in the Construction, Architecture, Design, or Commercial Real Estate sectors.
3. Proven sales track record and experience in customer support is a plus.
4. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
5. Experience in prospecting, cold calling, and opening new accounts.
6. Proven ability to position products against competitors.
7. Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
8. Demonstrable experience in developing client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions.
9. High-level communication and networking skills.
10. A desire for continuous learning and improvement.
11. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
12. Ability to travel as needed.
