Join our team at Signature Home Services as a Business Development Manager and drive growth through strategic partnerships and relationship-building within the home improvement sector. This role is perfect for a proactive and results-driven professional with a proven track record in business development, particularly in establishing and nurturing relationships with insurance agents, realtors, property managers, and other business owners. You will play a key role in expanding our network, driving sales opportunities, and representing our brand at various marketing events. We are a premier home improvement and renovation company based in Apple Valley, MN that has been serving the Twin Cities for over 20 years. Along with our expertise in the sales and installation of roofing, siding, windows, and doors, we are the local go-to storm damage experts. We also help homeowners with bathroom remodels.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to build and maintain relationships with insurance agents, realtors, property managers, and other business owners.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and referrals.
- Conduct presentations and meetings with key stakeholders to promote our products and services.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing strategies and materials that support business development efforts.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to represent the company and generate leads.
- Negotiate and close business deals that meet strategic objectives and revenue targets.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive activities, and market conditions to adjust strategies accordingly.
- Prepare regular reports and updates on business development activities, pipeline, and results.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the home improvement or related industry.
- Strong networking abilities with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and self-motivated attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel and attend events outside of regular business hours as required.
Compensation:
- $55,000 base pay plus commissions
