Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join one our Birmingham clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in government contracting and real estate sectors, demonstrating expertise in identifying opportunities, building relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role is critical to expanding their market presence and achieving strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to drive growth in government contracting and real estate markets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including federal, state, and local government contracts.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, real estate developers, and industry partners.
Lead the preparation and submission of proposals, ensuring compliance with government regulations and client requirements.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative solutions tailored to client needs.
Negotiate contracts, agreements, and partnerships to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
Track and report on key performance metrics, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, with a focus on government contracts and real estate.
In-depth knowledge of government procurement processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Strong network within government agencies and the real estate industry.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
