The Job Details are as follows:
The Business Development Lead will be responsible for driving our business development strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and building and maintaining strong client relationships. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales and business development within the technology and professional consulting services industry.This position will lead and manage a team of Technical Solutions Consultants, ensuring the delivery of high-quality technical solutions that meet client needs and drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Direct/Manage/Supervise identifying, evaluating, and pursuing new partnerships and business opportunities that deliver long-term value and fuel the company's growth.
- Drive the organization's growth by building strategic relationships, identifying new market opportunities, and enhancing the organization's market presence.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform business development strategies.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and customers.
- Work closely with the sales team to align business development strategies with sales initiatives.
- Leverage analysis of markets and competitive intelligence to define growth strategies.
- Identify potential merger and acquisition targets that fit the company's broader strategic goals.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and market shifts to inform business development strategies.
- Extensive business knowledge with comprehensive understanding of the organization and functional area.
Requirements:
- Requires a bachelor's (or international equivalent) and 15+ years of relevant experience. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- Extensive experience in professional services/consulting, with a proven track record of success in program development and growth
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct, manage, and supervise a team of consultants
- Understands ERP functionalities and experience advising about unique value propositions of cloud-based ERP solutions
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to develop and implement strategic business development plans
- Experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Ability to analyze data and leverage insights to inform strategic decision-making
- Proficiency in proposal development and presentation techniques
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the latest technology trends and advancements, with specific preferred experience in Workday environment, modules, tools
- Experience working with understanding requirements of clients in and/ or existing network in higher education environment
