About the Job
Job Overview:
Business Development Executive is responsible for generating sales, demand and revenue creation, winning, developing, and growing customer accounts, as well as assisting external sales representatives and distribution partners in demand creation. This position reports to the sales management leadership – VP of Business Development. Located at the Unigen Headquarters in Newark, CA.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Create demand for Unigen products and services:
1. Develop strategic and tactical plans performing actions that increase the revenue pipeline with existing and new customers and new markets;
2. Conduct market research and customer prospecting to obtain revenue objectives;
2. Win new customers and create new demand for Unigen products and services:
1. Sell Unigen products, services, and solutions to prospective customers;
2. Qualify customers: determine competitive pricing, product specifications, service, and sales contract terms;
3. Present Unigen products, services, and solutions to customers: conduct, coordinate, and manage customer visits, tours, and meetings;
4. Negotiate prices and sales terms and service agreements
3. Manage Sales quality and maintain high customer satisfaction
1. Provide the highest quality output to meet customer dates, requirements, deliverables;
2. Manage meetings and internal team engagement
4. Manage Sales data and provide informational support and Sales expertise:
1. Collect, manage, and report sales data;
2. Prepare and deliver sales materials and presentations, customer analysis and sales data/solutions
3. Train the internal team on customer needs, requirements, and communication
4. Perform other duties and responsibilities related to Business Development Executive, as assigned
Essential Job Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Minimum 2 years of experience in Sales in flash, memory modules, storage, or data center solutions industries or similar sales experience,
2. Minimum 2 years of experience in an industrial distribution or related fields,
3. Experience in managing sales representatives and distribution partners.
