The Role
We’re seeking a strategic and results-driven Business Development Executive to lead our agency's new business efforts. You’re driven by growth, motivated by challenges, and inspired by the opportunity to exceed expectations. A natural leader and team player, you understand the balance of strategic thinking, collaboration, and forward momentum.
What You’ll Do
As the champion of Donovan’s business development efforts, you’ll report directly to the CEO/President and be responsible for:
- Strategic Planning
- Developing and executing a comprehensive new business strategy aligned with the agency’s vision and goals.
- Lead Generation
- Identifying key target industries, conducting competitive analysis and market research, and generating leads to fuel agency growth.
- Sales Execution
- Managing all aspects of the sales process, from identifying opportunities to delivering winning presentations and closing deals.
- Collaboration
- Partnering with the creative and strategy teams to craft compelling campaigns that drive results.
- Direct Marketing
- Coordinating and executing direct outreach initiatives to engage potential clients and secure new accounts.
What You’ll Bring
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively
- A positive, proactive mindset with the ability to thrive under pressure
- Proven experience managing the sales process from lead generation to closing
- Strategic thinking and innovative problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to generate leads and build relationships within the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry
- A track record of successfully driving business development initiatives
- 7+ years of experience in advertising agency sales and/or marketing
