Luminary Group, a leading global consulting firm, is seeking a talented and experienced Business Development Director to join our client. As the Business Development Director for Real World Evidence (RWE), you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the healthcare industry by driving the adoption of RWE solutions across the USA. You will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and driving revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to promote the adoption of our Real World Evidence solutions in the USA.
- Identify and target potential clients within the pharmaceutical industry, payers, healthcare providers, and other relevant organizations.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their needs and aligning our offerings to meet those needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored proposals and presentations for potential clients.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, including lead generation, qualification, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to expand our brand presence and generate leads.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful project implementation and customer satisfaction.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline development, and revenue projections.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the healthcare or life sciences industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Real World Evidence (RWE) and its applications in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and/or medical devices.
- Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and meeting sales targets.
- Strong network of contacts within the pharmaceutical industry, payers, healthcare providers, and other relevant organizations.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of initiative and self-motivation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and propose innovative solutions.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
- Authorization to work in the USA.
