About the Job
Our well-established client is currently seeking a Director of Business Development to join their team, Full time FLEXIBLE opportunity in the Latham area. Responsibilities of the Director of Business Development will include:*Identify new business opportunities by fostering relationships with existing private equity/debt entities and emerging investment advisors.
*Cultivate and sustain a network within influential circles of the private fund sector, such as audit, tax, and legal advisory firms, consultants, limited partners, investment bankers, and other advisors.
*Participate in industry gatherings and conferences, traveling nationally to engage with potential clients and industry influencers.
*Stay abreast of industry, legal, and fiscal developments to predict market shifts and leverage these insights for business growth.
*Willing to Travel.
*Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications of the Director of Business Development:*Bachelors Degree in business or related field.
*At least 8 years proven track record in business development sales.
*Excellent communication skills.
*Highly organized and self-motivated individual.
