Position Summary
To provide sales and marketing support in building a pipeline of leads to meet business plans, quotas and company objectives. Responsible for generating leads through phone calls, social media and emails.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties
- Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
- Conduct outbound prospecting to identify and qualify leads for a team of Business Development Managers.
- Schedules appointments for the sales team.
- Research accounts, identify key prospects and generate interest.
- Maintain and expand the database of prospects within assigned territories and accurately record prospect interactions and sales activities in the CRM.
- Send key marketing and sales literature for branding to prospective targets.
- Qualify marketing generated leads and route as necessary.
- Utilize various channels (phone calls, emails, social media) to engage potential clients and introduce them to GardaWorld’s services.
- Collaborate closely with our sales and marketing team to optimize lead generation and conversion strategies for different geographical markets.
- Achieve and exceed monthly quotas of qualified leads and sales opportunities.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- Must have excellent oral communication skills and be able to build rapport with customers both via phone and email - the ability to call, connect and interact with potential customers
- Experience with research and maintaining databases
- Strong project and time management skills
- Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization
- Comfortable making cold calls and talking to new people all day
- Persuasive and goal-oriented
- Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor
- Eager to expand company with new sales, clients, and territories
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Tenacity to handle rejection and continue on with a positive attitude when reaching next potential client
- Knowledge of sales process from initiation to close
- Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team.
Minimum Education and Experience
- High school degree or equivalent
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM experience preferred
- Previous experience in outbound call center, inside sales experience, or related sales experience preferred.
Additional Requirements
- Pass an extensive background screening which includes background check and drug screen.
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $55,000 per year plus quarterly commission.
- Additional benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, and industry-leading 401k.
